For the duration of the COVID pandemic, we are making every effort to keep our members and volunteers safe. This means that events and activities are currently subject to change or cancellation at very short notice.  Both members and volunteers are strongly encouraged to take Lateral Flow Tests prior to attending any FiSH activity  and to stay at home if they feel unwell or have received a positive LFT result.

The Good Afternoon Choir - A new initiative!
Young or old, singing is good for your breathing, your memory and your mood - and it is something that has been much missed by many people during the pandemic.

The Good Afternoon Choir will take place on Thursdays at 2:00pm at Barnes Green Centre and will be run by Carl Speck, sponsored by Home Instead.

FRIDAYS

StarFiSH Dance Classes - Inspired by Rambert Ballet, these dance classes are run by our two popular animateurs, Delene and Katie. The exercises are especially created for those with poor mobility, are ideal for those with Parkinson's or early dementia and can be done sitting or standing. The sessions take place at 10:30am each Friday at Barnes Green Centre. £5 per session.

In association with FiSH and Age UK, Daniel Fredrikson from Richmond Alzheimer's Society will be at Barnes Green Centre offering support, practical advice and information to those experiencing signs of dementia on what next steps to take, what to expect after diagnosis and what support the Society can provide.
